Sales Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: 45000-50000

The Role:

This is a superb opportunity to make your mark, where your objectives will be to establish our client as an important player in the UK private label retail market.  You will be responsible for:

 

  • Managing existing relationships with current national multiples.
  • Penetrating new retail chains with private label food solutions.
  • Working with NPD teams to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Maintain good working relationships internally with NPD, Accounts, Logistics, Production and Customer Care departments.
  • Introduce products into the customers operations.
  • Budget Planning and Strategy developing.

You will be required to work from home and at the UK offices in the Midlands.

 

The Candidate:

This role is not for the feint hearted, you will have solid experience of retail multiple sales and developing relationships within the PL Retail Market.  You will be product aware and have food related experience with good understanding of NPD, with the ability to confidently discuss the processes and ingredients, negotiate on changes for costs to make up products.

Quality Manager

Location: Staffordshire

Salary: 33000-35000

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be a key member of the management team.  Responsible for overall quality management, managing standards, influencing and implementing change.   

  • Define, lead and implement programmes to deliver the company strategy in order to give the company and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Meeting and exceeding clients rigorous approaches to food technical standards.
  • Ensuring that company policies, systems and procedures meet BRC standards, company objectives and industry best practice.
  • Management of technical / quality functions with regard to HACCP/ food safety/legal requirements.
  • Investigation and response to customer technical enquiries.
  • Liaison and development of good working relationships with external bodies
  • Document and specification control. 

The ideal candidate:
You will have solid food manufacturing experience working in a quality field and be experienced in developing HACCP, BRC, Audits etc. with excellent knowledge of quality systems and their implementation.

Management Accountant

Location: Northampton

Salary: 25000-35000

Our food manufacturing client is continuing to grow and develop under its dynamic management team.   Due to expansion, you can really make a difference in this team based, forward thinking environment.

 

The job:

  • Prepare the daily production performance (variance) reports.
  • Preparation of the monthly intrastat and ad-hoc National Statistics returns.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, including regular reporting and liaison with commercial and production departments.
  • Maintain the company fixed asset register.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll.
  • Support the Financial Controller in preparing weekly and monthly KPI’s for reporting on company performance, preparation of the monthly management accounts, annual budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Holiday cover for the Finance Manager and Finance Assistant.

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified accountant or Part Qualified preferably studying for CIMA.
  • Payroll experience preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.

  • Methodical approach to solving problems.
  • Entrepreneurial, ambitious, self motivated and driven.
