HR Business Partner

Location: Northampton

Support Managers within specified regions, assist with the management of HR to support business operations and strategic goals.  Responsible for ER, PM, employee involvement and general trouble-shooting. 

Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed and administered properly.  Follow up to ensure employee relations issues are resolved promptly. Provide training and guidance to Managers in maintaining a proactive approach towards potential employee relations issues.

Respond to D&G issues including making initial contact, pulling together appropriate information, interviewing, preparing responses or back-up information, and attending hearings.

Provide guidance to employees and leadership regarding leave of absence administration, reinstatement and management of sickness absence using the Bradford factor. 

The ideal candidate:

Three to five years of proven HR experience, multi-site service industry preferred.   Preferably CIPD qualified or working towards.  Must be analytical, have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects whilst meeting deadlines. 

Problem solving, diplomacy and ability to use independent judgment in considering the impact of decisions is essential.  Knowledge of HR Select preferred.

The role:

The Candidate:

Requires strong experience of BRC / HACCP audits.  You will have excellent communication skills, and display a systematic attention to detail, with analytical and methodical working practices. Food industry experience necessary.

You’ll need to demonstrate good knowledge of the food manufacturing (ideally dry powder), with solid technical experience within a food environment.  You should have strong communication skills.

The role:                    

Responsible for buying all ingredients, packaging and ancillary products, with a annual spend of £3.5m, in order to be successful you will need to be aware of price movements and supplier margins, advising the business of potential issues where appropriate.
